Yesterday night, I realised what a blur person I've been. I was researching on university stuff especially those pertaining to NUS Business School when I decided to check out my course again. I was awarded the concurrent BBA and MSc(Mgt) course of which I will be awarded a degree and a Masters degree upon graduation, but all the while I had the wrong impression of the course.
Our BBA is NUS' leadership and management talent programme. BBA Honours programme students who are admitted into the MSc(Mgt) programme need to take 32 modular credits (i.e. 8 modules) over and above the BBA Honors Programme requirements of 160 modular credits to fulfil the MSc(Mgt) programme requirements. That is, they need to spend just 1 more year to complete the master's programme requirements.
So all along I thought my course will last 5 years of which I will do the Masters in the 5th year. Then I started to wonder, "So what's the difference between my course, which is supposed to be concurrent and any normal business student hoping to take the Masters in their 5th year?" This question has been haunting me for the past year as well as when my freinds asked me. I am usually unable to answer. Until I read the following:
An admitted student completes the MSc(Mgt) programme together with the last half of his/her undergraduate programme, and will be awarded two separate degree scrolls with the same conferment date.
It means that I will do my Masters from my 3rd year in uni onwards. And that I will get 2 degrees upon graduation in 4 years, and not 5! Haha, but it also means that I have to take about 6 modules a semester, compared to others who usually take 4. Sianz~

I've changed my blog template to this really cool navigation type which may be confusing to people who were following my old blogs. But the fact that you are able to reach this page means that you understand how this works and that your iq is not so low after all.
Everything I type on my blog are my own personal comments purely for memory (or in certain cases, stress relieving) purposes and not targetted on inflicting irreversible mental trauma on whoever's name that is mentioned. I also do not like to discuss things mentioned in the blog outside of my blog. What's in the blog, remains in the blog.
Please tag on the tagboard to give me constructive comments or just to say hi. I love to say hi because greetings are free.
Remember to check out the songs I'm listening to in the music box segment located at the lower orange rectangle.
