The past 2 weeks have been really busy with duties, audit and project presentation. Lots of pressure handling the big shots that come from everywhere. At least I'm having a 4 days' break thanks to labour day.

As a result, I decided to make a trip back to VJC yesterday afternoon under jenn haur's invitation to join in the sports day fun. At the same time, I was planning to collect the dance concert tickets from ruth. However, My excitement was dampened by the security guards at the main gatre because they refused to allow ex-students to enter the school on the basis that they cannot tell who are ex-students and who aren't. It's quite obvious that many ex-students will turn up for these major school events to show that we still care about the school and the feeling I get is that VJ do not welcome us. That is certainly not a nice gesture. In the end, I decided to just change pass and identify myself as a visitor so i can enter the school.

Sports day this year seem more dull the previous years. As a matter of fact, it seems more and more dull by the year. But one thing really surprised me- Cheerleading. I'm glad that cheerleading has become an important and permanent event in sports day and it's no longer looked upon as a chore like a few years back. At least I feel that the participants are enjoying themselves in the process. I've always liked cheerleading because everyone looks so energetic and lively, even though some of them might be forced out, and they make me feel alive. I was particularly impressed with the VJ knights, the official VJC cheerleading team. they seem rather professional to me with their dashing contumes and sweet moves. One girl caught my eye when she had this amazing abs that looked really sexy when they lifted her up. I believe many people would agree with me that the cheerleading segment was indeed the most interesting part of the day's events.

My house, Draco, made rather good improvements too.
Cheerleading - 3rd (we've always been bottom 2)
Overall Girls' - 4th
Overall Boys - 1st
Overall House - 2nd

In the end we did the usual 6 mass dances which really brought me back to the VJ days I had about 2-3 years ago. That's when I cannot agree more that schooling days are the most fun. Sigh... 266 days to ORD. LOL
