1. I was supposed to wake up at 5 am but I stopped my phone and alarm clock when they rang at 5am and ended up waking at 5.45am.
2. I bought a popiah from the simei 7-11. The popiah was from the hot snacks section but the popiah was freaking cold. Wasted my 85 cents when I threw it away.
3. The 1.5liter mineral water I bought was spilt on the bus on the way to sentosa and I got my butt wet.
4. The dress code was supposed to be khaki pants but no one told me. I ended up being the only person wearing board shorts.
However, it didn't turn out to be as bad as I expected. When we arrived, we were roughly briefed on how to belay and it was rather easy to me because I attended something like this back in VJ. After that, I went up to try one of the high elements obstacles while jeremiah belayed me. He tried to pull the rope really tight so that I'd lose balance but luckily I completed it safely. Before we knew it, the participants started to arrive and that was when I realised they were all adults ranging from late 20s to late 40s and most were PhD holders. Also, a large portion of them were from China! But it actually went ok la, just that all they were rather rowdy and uncooperative at times. So the whole day activity started and adding up both morning and afternoon's participants I belayed approximately 25 people. The price to pay is sunburnt forearms, forehead and nose and an ugly tan line caused by my shades. other than that, my right bicep is now slightly larger than my left due to the belaying. But at the end of they day, have to agree that it was fun and enriching!
The following is what went on after the session...

Everyone was tired...except me, trying to squeeze out a smile.

woohoo! Abelised! *inside joke*
