Good news today! I got accepted by NTU business! Somehow it doesn't really excite me as much as I expected myself to be. Perhaps I've long treated it as an avenue for me to fall back should all everything else fails. Still hoping I can get the FIREfly scholarship to take me overseas, but my fingers are slowly getting uncrossed and I'm getting more and more unconfident. Hopefully it'll come around my birthday as a perfect birthday gift!
Anyway, I really feel NS is becoming more and more of a drag. I hate the feeling of knowing you'llhave to wake up at 5.15 am the next morning, travel all the way to bukit timah, stay there till 5.30pm, come home and sleep and that's how your life proceeds every single day. I feel that I'm really wasting this 2 years away. So friends, save me! Whoever is free please help to drag me out of this life. A simple dinner on weekdays or any activity during weekends would be cool enough. By the way, I've already started to pick up reading again so that my brain doesn't deteriorate to that equivalent of a baby by the time ny national service ends.
Man Utd just drew 1-1 with middlesbrough! I don't know if I should feel happy or sad. Happy because it gives Chelsea a chance to close the gap to 1 point. Sad because I lost yet another of my bets. I really should stop placing bets with Singapore pools. I've lost almost everytime I do it. This really isn't my gambling year. Shall save the money to buy more books or maybe pursue my guitar ambition which has yet to be embarked on.
