I've changed my blog template to this really cool navigation type which may be confusing to people who were following my old blogs. But the fact that you are able to reach this page means that you understand how this works and that your iq is not so low after all.
Everything I type on my blog are my own personal comments purely for memory (or in certain cases, stress relieving) purposes and not targetted on inflicting irreversible mental trauma on whoever's name that is mentioned. I also do not like to discuss things mentioned in the blog outside of my blog. What's in the blog, remains in the blog.

CHEMISTRY SPA IS FINALLY OVER! ALL OVER! NEVER GONNA APPEAR IN MY LIFE AGAIN!
haha, but it was stupid anyway, when everyone already knew the question even before we stepped into the lab.
and there's still bio SPA tml...
comon tests are arriving really soon. and human nature is slowly beginning to show. people suddenly starting to be nice to those who really excel in a certain subject, and they totally ignore you when u ask a question because they know you won't do well anyway. mug clubs starting to form, some join because they really need someone to study with, while others simply wanna take advantage of the smarties inside the club. people starting to behave weirdly, ponning lectures and tutorials, having absolutely no respect for even their own subjects tutors, only to come back begging them when they're short of 1 or two marks to get an 'A'. people trying to act as if they don't care and will do badly when they actually rush home everyday and mug like crazy. i mean there's nothing wrong with wanting to study and scoring good grades, why do people have to hide the fact that they are doing that? just because they don't wanna be labelled as muggers because muggers usually look like nerds? nver mind, these are all human nature. who knows? maybe i belong to one of those too, at least i've skipped 2 lectures already because of the stupid LT5 having no aircon. you're actually studying in a bomb shelter!
saw a bunch of intellectually challenged kids in bedok burger king today which totally changed my mood for the better. it was really cool how their teacher brought them there and asked them if they had 4 dollars to buy a students meal. if they had, they could go to the counter themselves and buy them and for those who don't the teacher will help to pay for them. and they were having a lot of fun as they were eating, with absolutely no sign of stress for exams or academic problems. not only that, that treat each other damn nicely, sharing food and drinks and talking and joking. contrast that to the ugly side of humans that's hovering all around us... why can't people just be like them? without worries, having fun together and friendship is like the most important thing in their life. this is something we really ought to learn from them... makes me think of the time spent in cambodia with the kids at hope village. althought they are comparatively less smart than the kids in singapore, but nobody in the village looks down on anyone. everyone is equal and everyone is everyone's friend. no competition (except in games), no backstabbing, only a simple and happy life.
this is something VJ seriously lacks. how many times have we heard the teacher going up there to appeal to "students taking at least one 's' paper"? asking them to go for this seminar, that seminar, this talk, that sharing session, to hand up this form and that form. so those not taking 's' papers are dead issit? i'm sure everyone knows, there's a whole lot of scholarships out there that do not require an 's' paper, yet the school doesn't recognise this fact. all they know is 's' paper= smart... no 's' paper = leave you to die. and teachers are starting to hand scholarship stuff to selected students secretly, not even giving the rest a chance to know what issit about exactly. what is this man? shouldn't the school treat everyone with equality? we try to stop racial discrimination, sexual discrimination, but what's this about the academic discrimination? by the time someone without an 's' paper does enought to score 4 'A's, all the chances for him would already have been gone... seriosuly, VJC sucks at this.

yesterday has been hell, a day where i dropped dead upon reaching home, hence blogging about it only today.
the day started at 4.45am, the latest time i can wake up of i were to reach police academy at 6.45am. left home at 5.10 am to catch the first mrt at simei. met three new friends, din, nas and another guy whom i forgot his name at city hall mrt and we went off to police academy together.
reached the place at around 6.30am. started helping to move stuff here and there before the competition started at 8am. if you're still wondering what the hell i'm talking about, i'm an official at the NPCC inter-unit campcraft competition 2006. stood in the hot damn sun from 8am all the way till 1pm, without any rest because my job for that period was a runner, which kinda meant extras. shan't elaborate on the structures that the different schools made... they all look boring and lacked creativity to me.
what's pathetic is the lunch they provided us with... a packet of plain bee hoon with 1 fried egg and a banana. that's all.... cool manz...oh and during that time i realised i'll be the lot i/c of my dunman high, which totally rocked. but later on they realised some CIs are taking their own schools so they decided to switch some around. damn. oh so for the 2nd shift i stood in the sun for another 3 hours, from 3pm to 6pm. so by the end of the whole activity, i was as red as a lobster and it was almost certain i'll be peeling the next day.
i went with the dhs team to novena square and changed and bought a bouquet of sunflower for cheryl. jinrui arrived shortly in the cab from sengkang and from the moment i hopped on it was already $11+. when we reached cheryl's house in katong is was $19+... but jinrui treated me to the ride. upon entering her house, a few familiar faces were spotted. matthias, elgin, and jiahao. and nigel and liang hong arrived shortly after. but i guess those were the only people i knew lahz... the rest were either her RJ friends of church frens i guessed. now the funny thing is when everyone wanted to watch the liverpool V man utd match, her brother wanted to watch sky high. so cheryl's dad played the sky high DVD, and while it was showing, her brother wasn't watching at all... now that's ironic. when her bf came i heard someone said," i think cheryl's boyfriend loked as if he wanted to kill someone when he entered the room." ahah, sorry cheryl, but i kinda agree... jinrui finally decided to ask her father if it was possible to change the channel to soccer...and it was done.
10 minutes into the match, i realised it was time for me to leave for my grandma's birthday party. took another cab and i dropped jinrui at his house before continuing the journey to tampines, cost me another $9.50... but nvmz. when i reached there i felt so guilty when they said that everything was over and i wasn't in the amily photo and ah ma not very happy and stuff... haha, i learnt my lesson. blood is thicker den water... next time it shall be family first. ate a bit and played a bit of mahjong den went home.
so when i reached home after i bathed, i slept from 12am to 2pm today, woke up for lunch and continued to sleep from 3pm to 7pm...

had music fest audition which seriously sucked. met up with jasmine at around 1.30pm to practise our song for the first time in v25. it went well and we had confidence we should be able to make it. only to be foiled by the SCs and PA crew.
the venue was suddenly changed to the LT AVA which was much older and lousier than the PT.
as many teams were late, the SCs told us to be the first duet to go up. so we did. and i saw only one mike. so i asked the PA crew if they had another mike, and they said no. den i said den how to sing duet? they said sing with one mike lor... WHAT THE HELL
so we reluctantly sang with one mike which meant we couldn't move around with ease as we had to stand beside each other and hold the damn mike together. and guess what? they cut us off at the first chorus. in fact, they cut almost everyone off after the first chorus. don't they know that some songs have their peaks and highlights at the back of the song? i pity gladys, she couldn't even reach her chorus before she was cut off as her song was very long. how to perform liddat? den the SCs will say no time... if they wanna organise something, den make sure they can accomodate whatever they are supposed to provide. if they have no time, increase the number of audition dates. that's their own problem if they wanna organise. and they didn't even release how the format of the competition is like (no. of rounds, judging criteria,etc)... how well planned...
after we finished singing, another duet which went up to sing duet with no mike and no music. i just realised how comical we might have looked up there just before and i felt disgusted with the PA crew again. although people always say without them, school events cannot function and stuff... but they just always seem to screw up many things. that cannot be forgotten. think of CNY, musicfest auditions, various morning assembly, etc... and after that pair finished, they manage to fix the mike again. so now we have two mikes while the first pair, which was us, actually only sang with one mike. so i went to request from miss rajan that we re-perform for them. or rather, i insisted.
the 2nd time was much better according to many people, but i felt it sounded a bit weird. guess maybe it was my fault as i was stil a bit irritated with the whole arrangement.
well, now that it's over, just have to cross my fingers and hope we'll get thru. and hopefully my solo one too. and thanks jasmine, you make a good singing partner!
went off to katong for interhouse bowling after that. had a really bad day. couldn't find my 10 pound ball so i played with an 8 pound ball for the first 2 games. got 96 and 110 respectively, obviously below average. halfway throught the really bad third game, i manage to get a 10 pound ball from the lane beside and immediately got 2 strikes. ended the game with a score of 100. average for three games was 102... really disappointed...
this year's yearbook look really nice, except its weird dimensions such that it almost can't be kept into my bag. and 05S27 picture is damn ugly... but it looks really cool. like the class photos and teachers photos, very unlike those at dunman high. i'm loving it.
had the year ones SC nominees speech in the morning. seriously the three of them sucked. think i might just vote against all three. joyce realised the reason why draco had only 3 nominees was
because many people were waiting to join house comm. and i think it's true. the 12 forms that we prepared to give out after the speeches were gone immediately. the other houses didn't even manage to give out all. this starts to get me worried because whatever the case, house comm can only allow 4 people in. which mean disappointment for many people... sigh... see how it goes...

this past week has been a really busy week for me, that explains why i haven't been blogging. have been practising hard for my music fest solo item. and it's over today!!! just one hour before i went up to sing, yiyun called me to tell me that my cd cannot work and thus i have to sing without any music. so no choice went to sing lor, i felt it turn out ok. but one thing was that VJC had really a lot of talented singers. i tot jasmine was really really good, captivated me. the other two i really tot were good were marcus and krystle, both from TSD. wonder if it has anything to do with their TSD practices. this thursday will be my duet item with jasmine. placing more hopes on this cuz jasmine is a really good singer, hope i don't pull her down.. so come and support us if u have time, 4+pm in the pt i think...
this week has been lots and lots of catching up with homework and tutorials, hope i can finally catch up soon. oh another thing that entertained me for the past week has been getting irritated with leslie and gerald midget! haha, that's the name i gave him cuz i dunno how to pronounce his name. and he's short, really short, so he's a midget. but they two really sucked, i think they're the lousiest CT councillors around. and the 2 of them are in-charge of the igloo... eww. *puke*
this is the 2nd week i went to buy food on my way home as i have forgoteen my mum cooks on monday. afraid to tell her, i always eat two dinners on mondays. wonder why? i think must be the stress and workload. and while buying dinner today at tampines interchange, i saw gerald midget...haha, loner eating alone.
last highlight of the week was mock napfa test, of which i failed my pull-ups... 3rd period PE, here i come.... but i got 264 for SBJ and 10:50 for 2.4km run, which was not bad.
oh yeah, there was jts at glass house on thursday, 9th feb. i actually chose the most awful food there lahz, some sweet and sour fish thing. zuhao's swordfish looked really nice... and i ate half of felicia's fish and chips... hehe, that was followed by some dare or dare games planned by zuhao. here are some footages of what happened.
nice background!
i always look stupid when taking pictures with a pretty girl. clar, my mortal.
JTS!
chinatown karaoke kakis-me, zuhao, jasmine and felicia.
zuhao and roy can't control their desires. wonder what'll ian be thinking?

NEVER PLAY OVERNIGHT MAHJONG! IT'S BAD FOR THE BODY!
haha, that's exactly what we didn't follow on friday. but i'll rewind until friday morning first. woke up and went to school at 6.30 as normal, the timeslot when i'll be on the verge on being late for school. the bus came immediately as i reached the bus stop and i thought i wouldn't be late for school. BUT I WAS WRONG! i realised i forgot to bring my file which contained all my tutorials, foolscap paper, notes, etc. and i loook at the time and place i was at. 6.55am at SAFRA Tampines. If i turn back i'll definitely be late for school, but if i don't turn back and go for school it'll be uselss as i don't have any of the stuff i need for school except my pencil case. so i decided to go all the way home and back to Vj again, and finally reached at 7.56am, just a mere 16 minutes late. quite a achievement i must say and this is the only time i'm booked after being late for about 5-6 times.
oh yes, i missed the opening of the igloo, the VJc student's lounge. everything was perfect about it except it's gonna be run by ct council. usually i'd have nothing to say about ct council running it as there're really good and efficient people inside. just one disgusting fact about it is that leslie is in charge of it and i think that makes everything sickening. combined with a few lousy and 'fake' people, the students lounge is now one of the place i'm highly unlikely to visit. *pukes* i just hate to see them getting all smug that "it's gonna be run by ct council". *pukes again* anyway, the good news about the studens't lounge is that
DRACO OPENED THE DOOR OF THE STUDENTS LOUNGE!!!
we're going into the history books as being the house that opened the students' lounge!
anyway, went for my squad's gathering at night and had dinner at tm. go try out the playground at the open plaza on the 4th floor of tm. it rocks, totally! after that we went for our "annual cards and mahjong session (ACAMS)" at kim's place. haha, after losing $40 already at blackjack at my grandma's place and juleng's place, i decided to play it small here and started out with 10 cents and tried to cap it at 80 cents. as expected, i won quite a sum and it started to rise to 50 cents. but when i finally lost what i started out with, which was 80 cents, i went for a big one, $5!!! and i won. yea, from then on it was $2 each round and overall i won close to 8 bucks on blackjack and in-between.
then it was the most dreaded yet exciting activity, mahjong! i wonder how long was it ago that i thought mahjong was a boring and "auntie" game. now then i realised how fun and addictive it was, although i still think its "auntie". played at a super slow rate thanks to xiumin and kim and it took us a damn full 5 hours to play only 1 round. lost $4.90 but i guess it was ok as i had a net gain! went for a nap from 5.30am to 6.30am before rushing home to take my bath and then rush off to pasir ris again for CI chinese new year visiting.
went to huiling, mr koh, miss koh and then mr fong's house. i was so sleepy i kept falling asleep along the way, and i finally knocked out and fell asleep at mr koh's house while he was showing us some DVDs. so embarassing. had dinner at manhattan fish market or sth liddat at plaza singapura which was largely similar to fish and co. almost wanted to fall alseep there too. that's why i say,

anyway, went for my squad's gathering at night and had dinner at tm. go try out the playground at the open plaza on the 4th floor of tm. it rocks, totally! after that we went for our "annual cards and mahjong session (ACAMS)" at kim's place. haha, after losing $40 already at blackjack at my grandma's place and juleng's place, i decided to play it small here and started out with 10 cents and tried to cap it at 80 cents. as expected, i won quite a sum and it started to rise to 50 cents. but when i finally lost what i started out with, which was 80 cents, i went for a big one, $5!!! and i won. yea, from then on it was $2 each round and overall i won close to 8 bucks on blackjack and in-between.
then it was the most dreaded yet exciting activity, mahjong! i wonder how long was it ago that i thought mahjong was a boring and "auntie" game. now then i realised how fun and addictive it was, although i still think its "auntie". played at a super slow rate thanks to xiumin and kim and it took us a damn full 5 hours to play only 1 round. lost $4.90 but i guess it was ok as i had a net gain! went for a nap from 5.30am to 6.30am before rushing home to take my bath and then rush off to pasir ris again for CI chinese new year visiting.
went to huiling, mr koh, miss koh and then mr fong's house. i was so sleepy i kept falling asleep along the way, and i finally knocked out and fell asleep at mr koh's house while he was showing us some DVDs. so embarassing. had dinner at manhattan fish market or sth liddat at plaza singapura which was largely similar to fish and co. almost wanted to fall alseep there too. that's why i say,
DUN PLAY OVERNIGHT MAHJONG!

last year, at around this point of time, alan completed the VJC cross country and came in at 165th position!
this year, today, alan completed the VJC cross country and came in at 119th position.
damn! wanted to aim for top 100 position initially and was kinda disappointed when i got my yellow card the it read "119"! but well, at least i completed it and even got a 10% off jumbo seafood restaurant coupon. and draco got overall 3rd! that's cool!
but i guess the fun came after that! had lunch with our junior class and i had to say it was fun! den s23 had to copy us and eat at swenson's also. and my mortal started to find faults in her angel and i started to find fault in my mortal. that was confusing. i guess only the two of us understands. den went juleng's house after that to watch scary movie 2 (which i've watched 3 times) and play mahjong. lost 4 bucks. i think this is really not my year. i'll not play with games that deal with money anymore! hopefully.
after which we went to zhilin's house and zhini invied her class s22 also. had some usual party food and played stupid games. but it was really a fun time considering we haven't has such activities for a long time and probably wun have for a long time to come. i and zhilin got last in the game of life. see? i can never win games that have to deal with money.
kinda tired today so i shan't type further! update more another time. last but not least, must thank faiz and yong feng for cheering me on during cross country when i wanted to stop.
