Chinese New Year this year has been kinda quiet for me this year. similar to previous years, i only visited my uncle's (father's brother) house today. hongbaos collection below average... but it's ok! i saw a super cute baby! she's my cousin's daughter, which makes me her UNCLE! i'm an uncle now... and everyone starts calling me an ah cek(hokkien). today's post shall only contain her pictures!her name is wanqi by the way.
wanqi falling asleep soon...notice her cool hair!
wanqi woke up and realised i was taking her picture. she's always "frowning". and she has cute michelin hands!
actually, i thought i shouldn't let her grab all the limelight, so i decided to post some pictures of a really good-looking guy! haha...
self-taking after i wore my first set of new year clothes.
unhappy with the first take, i decided to go for it again!
tried for the third time on the MRT with shades, now i look good! hahaz...there's fiona xie beside me!
that's all from the first day of CNY! hopefully i'll get more hongbaos from my grandma's place tomorrow and i shall upload more pictures of that guy u saw above... till then, i shall leave u with the winning couple from draco.
rong shang and choon yong! our models for CNY!

haha, first things first!
DRACO ROCKS!
we totally owned VJC Chinese New Year Celebrations! Winning the top 3 banners, 3rd for fashion parade and 1st for the percussion imitation competition or what ever u call that! haha, probably because it was a celebration of which the theme colour was red, and that was the draco colour, to think before that during house meeting we were still telling the house to buck up as we were not doing very well. now i can proudly say that i'm prud of my house, especially those people who contribute to the house, like the years 1s and especially choon yong for yesterday.
another thought i had yesterday was that the school CT council kinda sucked, especially leslie, whose a totally incompetent leader and mr hoe, who just likes to cover up for the ct council. what led me to say here is a very long story, of which i shall not publicise here. another reason which led me to say this was because of yesterday, when i asked them for the full results for the CNY competition and they just told me they dunno. i think many people are expert in this, always making competitions interhouse and asking us to help here and there and don't give a damn about the results in the end. don't they know we need to compile the results to calculate house points at the end of the year? otherwise people start saying "this unfair that unfair" again!
back to a happier note. i really enjoyed the ICS guys dance yesterday, a perfect blend of bollywood style with pop dance. the 2 joyces were even thinking of joining ICS to learn those dances. i also learnt that yvonne chua was a totally different person on stage and off stage. oh, random note again, but i think i will join musicfest again this year after being kicked out in the auditions last year.
went back to dhs yesterday only to find the trip a wasted one. dunman high had normal lessons yesterday and thus we couldn't find much teachers. and we even got disgusted looks from teachers who thought our walking around was distracting their students. and primero even got called into a class to demonstrate to them how to solve a math problem. the only good thing bout yesterday's trip was that we got to catch up with miss tan jen fee, our only subject teacher left in dhs. the rest have all left one by one...oh, and i saw cheryl too! has been a long time since i last saw her, and she's still as pretty as ever. i mean, she was pretty all along since i knew her, but yesterday she just looked radiant and cute and all that. was with her boyfriend who doesn't seem to want to talk to us. so i guess that made both me and him awkward. so i left her after a while. sorry girl, catch up with ya some other time.
after a short meeting with chuan lui and miss koh, i left dhs with primero to go to marina square to meet the rest of my class peeps. we went bowling in hope of training for bowling interhouse. but i think i didn't make a good use of the time and money. got 82 for the first game which was my lowest in a long time. and 120 in the 2nd game which was much better. was 101 on average which was kinda below average i guess... have to work hard le...
oh random announcement... mr fong and miss yap are getting married on 11th march at a church near my house. anyone interested to go but don't know how to go can contact me.
last but not least, here's wishing everyone a

finally, everything is over. i can finally take a break!!!
OG BBQ went kinda ok, i guess. and interhouse, although went kinda berserk under mr tan's influence, ended after all. pegasus were first for girls and aquila were first for boys. i'm just so tired to type anything else. wanna enjoy my break before any crap starts to creep in to me once again. just wanna thank all those people who've helped me during this period.
Jenn haur- for helping me with the pits allocations and bookings.
Animagus OGLs- for helping me collect the money for OG BBQ!
Joyce and Daryl- for helping me with stuff that i'm unsure of with organising interhouse competitions
Keefe- for helping us to liase with the soccer team and settle my stuff with tan yew hwee.
Mr Wee-for offering help whenever we needed it. sorry there's an ugly rumour going around. dun worry i'll clear your name.
Rong Shang-for listening to all my blabbers and crap when she's still having chicken pox at home. get well soon manz!
aiyah, can't think of more le. just wanna thank everyone who has told me to relax and cool down and wishing that the next day will be a better day for me. thank you all so much and i'm now much better le. sorry if i've ranted at anyone of you or blamed anyone for anything that went wrong. but...
everything is over. let's all take a break. have a kit-kat!

I am seriously hating VJC more and more each day!
day started off quite well with the release of the cyclathon results. draco was first for the collection of donations but fifth for mileage... not a bad achievement lahz. but i had to hear that people were spreading a rumour about mr wee pumping money into our donation tin so that we could win the competition. what the hell, must there be some bad thing behind every good thing that happens to someone??? people just can't stop their crap issit?
and in the afternoon, finally there's a clear day for us to have the interhouse soccer competition and one fella had to spoil it all. well done yew hwee! well done! here's what he did to totally spoil everything.
1. changed the format such that the top of each group will face each other in the finals. 2nd of each group can only fight for 3rd-4th placing. this means to be in the finals u have to top your group!
2. suddenly announced that soccer boots was not allowed when he insisted on boots and shin guards last year.
3. wanted all the matches to end by today which was totally impossible. i told him we have to play until 8pm liddat but he insisted on finishing the games today.
4. decided to shorten the time of each match to 6 minutes per half with no half time in between. might as well don't play!
5. cancelled the 5th-6th placing and 3rd-4th placing matches and only allows the finals to be played tml. so the other placings will only be done through points and goal difference.
well done, yew hwee. you've manages to totally screw the whole competition and spoil everyone's mood. an incredible feat nobody could have done except for you. and now everyone will not suspect you, they'll just push the blame and point fingers at the house committee for poor planning and lots of last minute changes. no one bothers to find out the truth.
i'm tired, really tired of all this shit. plan and plan and plan only to see it being ruined step by step by others. tired and sick of everything. we plan and sweat and stay back till 8 plus to clear everything. and after a while, people'll start asking," what does house comm do?", "house comm slacker lahz", etc... no one actually remembers how much shit we have to put up with and do in order for the house to work. fine, if everyone had so much stuff to complain about house comm den next time dun say house points awarded, don't ask the house comm to help, you guys can organise your own competitions, we wun initiate any interhouse competitions, everyone can go but your own house tee. whatever, just don't come look for the house comm. also, i'm damn sick of people calling me and saying," eh alan, the og bbq how ahz?", "eh alan, what kind of og head are you?","you are the og head, how can you dunno?","eh alan, if tml rain how ahz?", "alan, you're the organiser, u decide lehz!" "alan! alan! alan! alan! alan! alan!" gimme a break will u guys? i'm not god. if it rains i can't stop the rain. if i know everything den i might as well be the principal of VJ! or singapore... haha...i might as well go and be president of singapore! die, i'm amsuing myself...so after everything is done, i shall condemn myself. i shall be taking a long break from my hectic and sucky life. i shall distant myself from house comm... fianlly, i can have peace.
screw all of you!

today's cyclathon competition was, as predicted, kind of a failure for draco especially. i think we clocked the least mileage, and might just be the house with the least donations. right from the beginning, when pegasus, ursa and lynx (who's turned shameless this year) have tons of people coming to cycle for them, we have only me, min loong, mr wee and joyce. so i started the race and guess what, the stupid magnet flew off and i cycled a distance for nothing. so we were trailing right from the start. and to make matters worst, we didn't have people to come down to support us or even donate to us. so confidence hit rock bottom. and then we saw the vice principal mr teo and asked him for donations. guess how much he put? $2? $5 $10? $20? well done mr teo, he put in $1+... even lesser than me... well done...
but stuff got better as it went on, as we received donations from a few more generous people like the other vice principal, mr yeo(yeo is better and taller den teo), mrs chan and even miss jancy. some other people i have to thank are mr wee, who gives us both financial and emotional support, 05S41, 05S27, 05S24 for almost cycling the whole competition, as well as some help from 06S39 and 06S41! special thanks go out to kaixin who helped me gather donations and mann-ed the booth when i had to go for lecture and people of S27 who went the extra mile, as in literally, for draco. enqing did 7km, fabian did 5km, i did 5km, zuhao did 5km...etc. i guess this is the kind of people we really need in draco. so other draconians out there, stop the all talk no action, stop hoping to get benefits without contributing cause it ain't gonna happen.
just realised i've become a more and more lonely person. always lost in school after lessons end with no one to find or talk to. everyone's having CCA and other commitments while i just happily waste my time away...
and i'm just thinking to myself, i'm working like a mad dog for house comm, cheering and planning stuff for the fellow students... but FOR WHAT??? do people even appreciate what we're doing? does mr seet even know how much we went to get people to cycle and donate? or all he cares is about he himself getting all the credit and us acting his stupid skit? does the draconians know how much we're planning for house function and how much crap we have to contact and liase here and there? or are they gonna mass pon the house function cuz they think it's gonna be boring? you guys are the boring ones dude. do the people know how much we plan for every interhouse competition, getting permission and asking the teachers and getting scolded and stuff? or are they gonna make a fool and make their own rules? or do they think house comm only does this kind of stuff cause we have nothing better to do? do the freshmen know how much crap we have to do to plan for the OG BBQ? or issit all talk no action again? say so much about having an OG BBQ and in the end the attendance turns out like crap!
is it really that cool to not appreciate what others are doing for you?

10 RANDOM THINGS TODAY!
1. I took my height and weight today. I'm now officially 1.77m and 58kg, which renders me underweight!
2. I think being in house comm and being in charge of a house is like running a football club where all the members want to win and get pay raise and none of them wants to play football!
3. I bought the red Victorian T-shirt from Bizclub for 10 bucks. wanted to wear it for CNY but realised it will only arrive after CNY!
4. I actually thought Yvonne from Campus Superstar sang quite well today despite me looking down on her the whole day.
5. I'm actually sick of being in house committee, hopefully it's only temporary.
6. Rong Shang is down with chicken pox.
7. I miss the life when i was in primary school, where i don't have to study much and life was much less stressful and i could still get first in class.
8. I wrote a letter to my mortal and bought her a nice VJ badge. i think i'll treat her as my soulmate for now, since i'm so bloody stressed.
9. I dunno, but i think diabetes awareness day will be a failure, especially so for draco.
10. i hope this day can pass quickly.

yesterday was a good day with NPCC, basketball and dinner together after a long time. but all was spoilt because of a stupid woman. after we finished our dinner at mac's, we went out to wait for yiting who had gone to the toilet. so meanwhile there was this cat that walked through us as if we were invisible. so guo'an, who keep two cats at home, decided to play with it. he used his legs to stroke the cat's back and the cat seemed to enjoy it lots. for for people like us who dunno how to keep cats or play with cats, it seemed as if he was trying to step on the cat! and quanrui started saying,"guo'an u step on the tail, i step on the head!" suay suay at this point of time, one woman saw and heard and exclaimed,"EXCUSE ME!!!!" and we thought she thought that me are trying to abuse the cat, so we just said sorry. and at this point of time, another woman, with super ugly makeup and ugly everything on her said," WE CAN JUST COMPLAIN TO HER SCHOOL!" wth, complain den complain lahz, none of us are students from dunman high after all although yuen siang was wearing dhs pe shirt. u can complain to dunman high all you want, you won't find us!!! but the bottom line is, she shouldn't just accuse us of something we didn't do and wanna complain just like that! she's acting like a typical b*tch. and for your info, xiang long actually went in to talk to her and explained that we were just playing with it and not abusing it, only to get more shit from her. so we just heck-care and continued on our way home. and on the way home, i accidently stepped on a milipede! OPPS, IS SHE GONNA COMPLAIN TOO?????????

why the hell does it keep raining?!?!?!?!
had house meeting today instead of assembly. was kinda worried at first that it would be a very boring and 1-way communication meeting but it turned out to be quite a success. firstly min loong made some introductions and showed them the identities for the year 2s and it sort of caught their attention. den i went on the evaluate our achievements last year and gave excuses for not winning cross country and sports day as ursa relied on participation points. was more or less to inspire the draconians to give it their best to participate more in competitions. den joyce went on to talk about some upcoming events while rong shan continued with some intra-house competitions and admin matters. den mr wee gave his usual inspiring speech and lastly we gave out the sportsman and sportswoman of the year, namely keefe and yan. they were both quite shocked!
i think this year's young draconians brings us a lot of hope. if i'm not wrong, there are 4 soccer guys in 06S52 which means we'll thrash others in soccer. also, i heard we have this guy called yaopeng who is damn rpo in track also. combined with last year's usual people like keefe, fazly, yan, and the rest of the house people, i'm sure we'll post a real threat to the house cup this year. really looking forward to the various house competitions. special mention goes out to the young VIPers manz, the whole of 06V12 girls signed up for cheerleading, which means we have no lack of cheerleaders this year, at least for girls. and 1 girl also came up to me to ask me bout the intra-house T-shirt design competition. the cycling for diabetics form was also filled up at an astonishing rate. oh my, i think draco is really gonna rock this year.
i think me, joyce, rong shan and min loong make a perfect team!!! wahahaha, i dunno why, but we're just a perfect team! combined with tristan who adds in some life and laughter once in a while, and mr wee always being there to guide us, i think draco house comm really rocks!!! =P

min loong stuck in a small car, now that's funny!
had house meeting today instead of assembly. was kinda worried at first that it would be a very boring and 1-way communication meeting but it turned out to be quite a success. firstly min loong made some introductions and showed them the identities for the year 2s and it sort of caught their attention. den i went on the evaluate our achievements last year and gave excuses for not winning cross country and sports day as ursa relied on participation points. was more or less to inspire the draconians to give it their best to participate more in competitions. den joyce went on to talk about some upcoming events while rong shan continued with some intra-house competitions and admin matters. den mr wee gave his usual inspiring speech and lastly we gave out the sportsman and sportswoman of the year, namely keefe and yan. they were both quite shocked!

having some post-orientation blues now, fatigue and piles of homework undone topped up with the cold and wet weather makes me a grouchy person.
oh anyway, sea regatta was just liddat lor, nothing much to comment about. lots of dunking and the games were slightly better than last year's, but probably it's because i'm looking from an OGL's point of view. being an OGL gives u a lot of freedom compared to a freshmen, so actually i guess we really do enjoy ourselves much more den freshmen. while my group was playing games, i was swimming with yaomin and kenn in the sea and waiting to "collect" them after the games. well this year the dunking got a bit more interesting as there was mud! yes, MUD!!! cause it was raining and the ground was muddy, some smart OG went to start dunking people in mud and rolling in the mud and going to hug others. which totally sucks and mud is totally smelly and dirty. kinda turn off by that and that stupid cephas came to hug me in that muddy shirt of his. anyway, he's kinda getting irritating with all the vulgarities he's hurling at me for putting him in personal grooming. i mean c'mon he wasn't even called on stage so just froget about it manz. be a man, do the right thing... haha, amused. den halfway through it started to drizzle so everyone started walking back to VJC. this was when it started pouring and it was really raining cats and dogs. *meow**bark* and i was walking with steph throughout and whenever a gust of wind whooshed past everyone would just shiver in cold and come to think of it it was a really cool feeling, literally. when we reached school i rushed to the house den to kup all the towels from the OPAC and gave them to amanda, steph and jasmine to dry themselves. opps *censored* i also did something i shouldn't have done, tsk tsk, i'm evil. den we did a few mass dances and it kinda signalled the end of orientation.
now what rocks was the lunch. Animagus had all 8 teams going out for lunch, 4 teams to PS, 1 team to dunno where and the other three teams to parkway. ate at cafe cartel and i would say it was rather cheap considering we paid $150 for 12 people and we almost couldn't finish the food. but sadly, our ungrateful bunch of year 1s did not continue the tradition of JTS while francis' groups did treat him to the meal. haha, just kidding , as long as everyone has fun that's good already. guess it will most prob be the last time we're having lunch as a group lahz. well, matthias and tristan joined our group for lunch too, k that was random.
after which we just slacked around and walked about aimlessly. anyway, we were left with a weird mix of people. me, tristan, steph, matthias, isabella(year 1), elliot(year 1), ling jie and francis. we kinda helped steph look for her CNY clothes but to no avail. den we slowly drifted to cineleisure to get momentos for my team, addax. aiyoh, we give our OG so many things and they all ahz... sighhhhh.
ok after that it was about 7-8pm where i went back to school to stay overnight with the house comm people. was really disappointed again by the fact that there was no one in school. only me and tristan. that was when i kinda lost hope in house comm. sigh, always pass down message stayover we have super few people staying over. so i thought oh wells, shall be me and tristan tonight den and i went to sleep, hoping time would pass faster then. and i had to off the lights to prevent the stupid security guard from catching us. so poor triatan got nth to do and i didn't know what he did. but when i woke up and stepped out of the room, i saw kaixiang and debbie. so we went inside house den to talk. soon, triatan and darren were done with answering a big nature's call and came to join us too. so we talked for a while in the dark hoping the security guard wun catch us. that's when we heard a knock and we all bent down and kept damn quiet for fear of getting caught. den the knocking stopped and we phewed... suddenly my stupid phone rang and i immediately shut it down. only to realise it was pam. so i called her back and ask her wad, den she said open the door cause she was outside. haha, wuliao. nvmz, den nothing much happened le, played boring mahjong followed by an intense mahjong heart attack. ok shan't elaborate on the rules, you'll only know the fun if u play it. some random stuff that happened during the game
1. kaixiang jumped up and fell down.
2. kaixiang jumped against the window and knocked down 3 window panes.
3. everyone except for me ran down and knock themselves against the vending machine
4. everyone took a file and keep kncoking our heads.
5 we laughed till our stomach ached
6. kaixiang ate 5 super sour warheads and the expression was hillarious
7. joyce did the same thing as above.
den the intense game was followed by a game of risk at the IP classroom and we slept there too. sorry joyce for pushing u off the sofa. haha
morning had house meeting followed by outing to suntec and marina square. good thing about house comm is very easy to go out together and we're just too streetsmart and everything. today bout 20 went out and we still got space to eat in the foodcourt. how cool is that? another thing is there's not a boring moment when we're together. lots of stupid new games were played today and it ended off with an ice cream session at cartel marina square. oh no, we played drinking goggles there too. aiyah, anyway, house comm rocks, too tired to continue. HOUSE COMMITTEE 2005/2006 ROCKS!

orientation 1 has more or less came to a close. only the sea regatta left to go.
well, concluding on the orientaion, i've got to admit i've learnt quite a lot yet lost quite a lot at the same time. i've learnt that for a bog event or activity like this to wrok, it really take a lot of cooperation and understanding from a lot of people. especially on day 1 where we had to settle tons and tons of admin and money matters. really gave me a headache manz. the PE shirt order too, really tested my mathematical skiills. as i helped some of the freshmen pay first, thee was a point of time where i almost thought i lost $50. but it turned out there was a calculation error.
damn, it's freaking hard to organise my thoughts, shall jump here and there.
and through o1, i've definitely made lots of new and old friends; OGLs from animagus:steph, rachel, faiz, chi heem, vibha, sam, tina, jiaying, yongsheng, krystle, jasmine, francis, ling jie, sheryl, george, keshi, nicola, tristan, hanisah, geraldine, jared, jiawei and debbie. all the different OG heads: wilbur, joyce, kenneth, emily, jacq, ivan, jing yuan, joyce, kendrick, yee guang, cher li, maria, imran and clar! and the SCs as well. as well as all the different rojak freshmen i know, both from my team, my league and those not from my league ones. to everyone out there who helped to make orientation 1 a success, you guys rock and lots of love from me! hahaha,
some random thoughts:
1. VS guys really sucked big time sometimes. i mean now that you're in VJC, it's nice once in a while to hear you all cheering for VS as it shows u all are loyal to your school, but when everyone is cheering VJC cheers as one voice and one school, can't you all just shut your amn mouth if u all dun wanna cheer. if u wanna cheer your VS cheer so much it's quite easy, go flop your Os and cheer all you want in VS, dun come to VJ lahz.
2. final battle turned our quite well. i mean i couldn't see as i wasn't wearing my specs but i heard it was quite good. my moves with mohan went quite smoothly and i manage to do my backward roll when i "revived". but when i fell, my claws accidently scratched jacq's face. i'm so so so so so sorry jacq. luckily there was no scars. really really sorry again.
erm, can't really think of what else to say about o1 now. mind still too messy.
if anyone is interested in the song that was played when me and debbie walked in on day 1, here it is...i think it goes well with the whole o1 spirit, which is for everyone to get wild and forget all kinds of stupid stuff that will spoil this feeling. live like animals, careless and free.
Animal Song
by Savage Garden
When superstars and cannonballs are running through your head
And television freak show cops and robbers everywhere
Subway makes me nervous, people pushing me too far
I've got to break awaySo take my hand now
Cause I want to live like animals
Careless and free like animals
I want to live
I want to run through the jungle
With the wind in my hair and the sand at my feet
I don't have any difficulties keeping to myself
Feelings and emotions better left up on the shelf
Animals and children tell the truth, they never lie
Which one is more human
There's a thought, now you decide
Compassion in the jungle
Compassion in your hands, yeah, yeah
Would you like to make a run for it
Would you like to take my hand, yeah, yeah
Cause I want to live like animals
Careless and free like animals
I want to live
I want to run through the jungle
With the wind in my hair and the sand at my feet
Sometimes this life can get you down
It's so confusing
There's so many rules to follow
And I feel it
Cause I just run away in my mind

phew, now's orientation in progress. on the whole i would say it's only acceptable and probably can't hold a candle to last year's at all. but maybe it's not fair to compare considering the freshmen are not the same people at all. a lot of freshmen super dead and simply refused to cheer or dance any mass dances. really wonder what they're looking for in VJ? good grades, a bunch of nerd friends? i could actually see a gal from razzle standing almost at attention, not moving at all, while everyone was doing the tribal dance. i can't imagine myself doing that man, i think if i have this kinda ttitude i can just go and die. opps. yet there are super enthu ones like samuel from my OG! definitely future master red shirt i guess. volunteering to stand up and lead cheers, taking the initiative to inspire the other OGs. guess that's what VJC needs, more of such people to make the college a much more hyped up place. so advice to future people who wanna come VJC, if you're going to reject all the stuff that VJ people do, please lah, dun come. we dun need people like you all. oh damn, i sure am blunt!
and i guess many people have started to get their priorities wrong, even including some OGLs. people have become so points oriented such that they become unfair, biased, cheats. what's the point man? is it really worth it to cheat because you want your OG to win and in turn hurt other people who genuinely play fair? it isn't a win-win situation, stupid. why not everyone just forget about the damn points and enjoy yourselves? of course having points is good, being the best OG is important for each OG, but is it really a smart thing to do, considering the fact that hurt many other people along the way? isn't orientation supposed to creat bonding among the freshmen? let them know the Victoria Spirit? by resorting to ugly methods, aren't we actually stepping on our own tail and becoming the most ironic idiots in the whole freaking world?
smile is all we need. laughter, happiness. they make the world a better place. i really understood this today. today's evening made me feel sad, but i dun want it to pollute my blog. shall end off with this song.
Def Leppard
When Love And Hate Collide
You could have a change of heart, if you would only change your mind
Instead of slamming down the phone girl, for the hundredth time
I got your number on my wall, but I ain't gonna make that call
When divided we stand baby, united we fall
Got the time got a chance gonna make it
Got my hands on your heart gonna take it
All I know I can't fight this flame
You could have a change of heart, if you would only change your mind
Cause I'm crazy 'bout you baby, time after time
Without you
One night alone Is like a year without you baby
Do you have a heart of stone
Without you
Can't stop the hurt inside
When love and hate collide

Since tml is the start of a new academic year, i shall just sleep early today and only have this quote in my entry for today...
A POSITIVE ATTITUDE IS CONTAGIOUS BUT DON'T WAIT TO CATCH IT FROM OTHERS. BE A CARRIER.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.
It's been so long since i last blogged. All because of OGL that's keeping me so busy every single day. Shan't mention it coz it'll only bring more wrinkles to my wrinkled face.
Concluding on 2005...
Got into nice school with a nice OG and flick, people like yuensiang, long chuan, roxanne, yan, yawen, zhen iang, desmond, etc, thanks for giving me a magical start to my VJC life and 2005. not forgetting my OGLs, carol, desiree, zhanhui, thanks so much too.
got into 05S27, a real ass-kicking class with really cool and funky people, to elgin, jingyi, bevelin, sheryl, etc although you guys are no longer physically part of 05S27, but you will always part of us in our minds, never forget us. to those in s27 not, you guys have rocked my life for this year and please continue doing so for 2006. let's all work hard for A levels.
den i got into house comm, tough and long journey, but still made it in the end. joyce, rong, min loong and tristan, i'm so glad we're in this together! let's continue bring draco house comm to greater heights.
den i signed up for the caet inspector course. was a freaking waste of time but the fruits of labour was great. now i'm a DHSNPCC CI trying to bring glory to the unit, my alma mater. but sadly, there's always villians lurking around and trying to put us down. so i've to say that sadly, i've not been able to accomplish my task.
after promos i got to know this buch of people who truly brought meaning to my life this year. The OCIP gang. I believe the last stretch of 2005 will never have been the same without them. i really miss the times we spent together, the late nights, the bitching, the fence painting, well drilling, well done, etc. i'll never forget them. People like marcus, yongbin, zuhao, samuel, samuel, wenxiang, jacq, zhengmin, shawn, zhilin, doanna, etc... please let this fond memory always have a place in your heart. also, the cambodian kids, i'll definitely go and visit you guys again if i have the time.
lastly, to round up the year, i got into ogl and became the head of my og. now that stinks and rocks at the same time. i've become the sai kang king who does everything when the members dun seem to understand whatever i'm telling them, spending hours on the com trying to settle some particulars list that they never ever send to me on time and lots more other rubbish. but on the other hand, i got to understand how to handle relations and admin stuff much better, and although we have our arguments, i have to admit that i've grown closer to them, especially to people like steph, kesh, debbie, jared, sam, etc, you guys make me believe that i'll never regret making this choice. continue to rock orientation and create a magical beginning to your own 2006.
As always, we have gotta make some new year resolutions.. so here it goes.
1. rock orientation1 and give the freshmen a great first impression
2. let house committee have a greater stand in Vj and try to let draco come out tops this year
3. study hard and get 4 'A's for A level
4. to achieve the above i must not sleep in lectures
5. have better financial management.
6. get to know more new friends, especially from Vj, year 1 and year 2.
7. never do anything that i will regret.
8. manage my emotions better
9. manage my relationships better.
10. achieve all those mention above so i wun have so much regrets at the end of 2006.
well, that was so cliche, but nevertheless, i think they're cool and i'll work towards them.
hopefully you people out there will find your own targets and achieve them too. all the best, friends.
Nothing great has ever been achieved excepy by those who dared believe something inside them was superior to circumstances.

got into 05S27, a real ass-kicking class with really cool and funky people, to elgin, jingyi, bevelin, sheryl, etc although you guys are no longer physically part of 05S27, but you will always part of us in our minds, never forget us. to those in s27 not, you guys have rocked my life for this year and please continue doing so for 2006. let's all work hard for A levels.
den i got into house comm, tough and long journey, but still made it in the end. joyce, rong, min loong and tristan, i'm so glad we're in this together! let's continue bring draco house comm to greater heights.
den i signed up for the caet inspector course. was a freaking waste of time but the fruits of labour was great. now i'm a DHSNPCC CI trying to bring glory to the unit, my alma mater. but sadly, there's always villians lurking around and trying to put us down. so i've to say that sadly, i've not been able to accomplish my task.
after promos i got to know this buch of people who truly brought meaning to my life this year.
