I am sick...
It all started on thursday when i started to get this sore throat that is freaking irritating. So i took this strepsils that were menthol flavoured cause that's the only thing i had at home. But it got worse, as that most disgusting thing i have put into my mouth this year made me feel nauseous the whole day, and i went home early after PW to sleep. After i woke up... TA-DA! I started to seriously lose my voice and started having a fever. Took some panadol and went to sleep again.
On friday, i still had PW rehearsal. Actually my sore throat was much better already, but my fever got worse and i started to feel damn weak. Managed to survive the day and went home. Decided to take my temperarure and it read "37.6"... although it was not really a high fever, it still got me soft all over and i continued popping panadols and sleeping.
On saturday, i had NPCC. This was the worse day. I woke up realising i can't breathe with any of my nostrils and my fever was still there. The only lucky thing was the sore throat was gone! OMG lahz, a CI having fever and flu having to face those cadets with lousy uniforms and disgusting sttitudes. as much as i dun wanna scream, i still had to and i did. Went to have lunch with jiaming and went home straight to have my nap again...
As of now, i'm still a sick old cow!
wahahah, it rhymes...hope i'll get really well and fit for the cambodia trip in three weeks time!
that's what i am... and i'm soon gonna be
random thought: really starting to lose faith in house comm... come to think of it, what has house comm really done this year? when people ask me this question, i really dunno how to answer!

I've changed my blog template to this really cool navigation type which may be confusing to people who were following my old blogs. But the fact that you are able to reach this page means that you understand how this works and that your iq is not so low after all.
Everything I type on my blog are my own personal comments purely for memory (or in certain cases, stress relieving) purposes and not targetted on inflicting irreversible mental trauma on whoever's name that is mentioned. I also do not like to discuss things mentioned in the blog outside of my blog. What's in the blog, remains in the blog.
Please tag on the tagboard to give me constructive comments or just to say hi. I love to say hi because greetings are free.

this week is tiring
12:41 PM - Tuesday, October 25, 2005
wahhh... 'tired' is the only word that can actually describe this whole week. tons of work, project work oral presentation, project hope presentation, OGL interview and many other stuff... but i guess the only un-fun one was the project hope thingy, dun understand why we have to go through so many meetings and so on just for a trip there!
project work was fun but was always kind of unproductive. we've been making our model of the metabuzz for many days and it is still plasticine in a shoebox! but everyone should have seen the stuff that we have transformed a simple plasticine into... toilet bowl, toilet sign, couches, tables, plasticine man, pinocchio, bus driver, etc... haha, hope it turns out well though
OGL interview is what rocked and worth looking for this week... some of the interviewees were really fun and cool and spontaneous, whereas others simply cannot make it...i guess what mr ho told me must be true, that CCAs are important in a sense that it actually moulds u into what u actually are. what do i mean??? eg. someone with a good CCA and lots of achievements in the CCA may not do very well in interviews, because the person does not even know how to handle an interview! on the other hand, someone with a simple CCA but is very involved in it and learns a lot from it may benefit more as he or she is able to apply what she has learnt into life, and maybe into interviews. In my opinion, the interview was a relatively easy one, you just have to walk in, be yourself, dun be nervous, treat us as your frens, and be as spontaneous as possible. Dun try to come up with stupid and weird answers that show that u are trying to outsmart the interviewers, and never write things in the form which u never ever apply in actual scenarios... well to all those who will successfully make it, congrats and continue proving your worth to the ogl family; to those who didn't, maybe treat it as a learning experience and seriously try being more natural and being yourself in the next interview, especially if you're having an university interview...
i finally realise that there is meaning in each and every thing you do, as long as it is not done blindly and you learn something from it...

Today was supposed to be a nice day... but it turned out to be the worse day for me in a very long time. Today marked the day i got back my last paper for promos... got C for Economics. very Very disappointed with the results. With the addition of this C for Economics, my promos results turned out to be a total replica of my mid years results. CDDE and C5 for GP. really dun understand why??? i did put in so much effort revising and turning up for lectures when all my friends wanted to pon, but it was all no use, everything was in vain... am i really that stupid? Now i can say bye to my 'S' Papers, say bye to any freaking scholarships...actually i have no feelings but disappointment...and thanks to that special person who helped made my day worse...
